The EQ Brand was founded in 2008.

In the early days EQ had one main objective, to make clothes that the owner and his friends could enjoy and wear every day!

Brand owner, Paolo Dorigo had been in the high end men’s woven shirt business for many years. Successfully producing some of the most sophisticated and novel shirts, exclusively out of Italy. His followers included Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes.

Having spent much of his early years in Northern Italy, Paolo was no stranger to the luxury and sophistication of Italian fabrics and design aesthetics. These standards and principals have become the backbone of his design philosophy.

Now residing in Los Angeles, California and realizing that these looks were not in concert with an ‘everyday lifestyle’ that he and his friends enjoyed, a possibility presented itself.  This possibility was to create a more relaxed look that embodied the west coast lifestyle, without compromising fabric, quality or a perfect fit.  

The result is EQ.
